BOUNDARY RETRACEMENT SURVEYS

 Anyone purchasing real estate is well-advised, and often required by lenders, to have a boundary survey completed prior to purchase.  Our in-depth understanding of  boundary law and years of professional experience inform every project we do.  Our staff has surveyed over 200,000 acres of Texas land.  We are experts at record research, review of deed and easement documents, review of title opinions, and the production of plats and field notes descriptions.  Just of a few of Jornada's boundary services include surveys of large ranch / acreage tracts, ALTA surveys, TSPS Category and Condition surveys, surveys for estate partitions, easement surveys, right-of-way surveys, and subdivision platting.  We can also help with smaller projects like fence line staking, corner recovery, and boundary line agreements.

TOPOGRAPHIC / UTILITY SURVEYS

Our topographic and utility surveys are most commonly performed in support of engineering design activities.  These surveys provide an accurate snapshot of existing site conditions so designers can make informed decisions.  We capture the topography of the land and map relevant utilities, improvements, physical features, drainage features, and other required items as individual needs dictate.  We understand what is needed to build accurate Triangulated Irregular Network (TIN) surface models and can provide electronic (Civil 3D or landxml format) surface deliverables of all topographic surveys.

GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEMS (GIS) SERVICES

We can provide a streamlined, in house solution to your map creation and development needs.  We specialize in GIS map creation, 3D/LiDAR modeling and surface development, CAD/GIS conversions, cadastral mapping, custom scripting, spatial analysis, and document management systems. Our staff has performed these services for engineers, architects, environmental professionals, and governmental agencies across the country.

ELEVATION CERTIFICATES

Elevation certificates are often requested by landowners in order to determine compliance with local requirements or seeking to qualify for favorable flood insurance rates. We can provide accurate elevation certificates for need.   We can also establish vertical benchmarks on your site for future elevation reference.
